Dodging Help
Bandits maybe? Events are good way of doing it with masses of mobs and AOE and just dodge (look for that “Evade” white text) as much as you can.
You can try it on Wyrms as they’re about to tunnel up dodge back, pretty simple to pick up.
I think a few do but I cannot remember the names, sadly I’m also having issues with this.
Thanks. Where does that text show up?
The text should show up just around your character or around the attack you dodged.
Personally, I found getting the dodge daily was super easy in WvW. I think I charged into a zerg and rolled twice and got my daily done.

notebene, it’ll be around where you “evaded” or above your character. similar to healing text (green) or dmg text you do to enemies or blocks.
i’ve read that the young karkas projectile attack can yield easy dodges. trick is to dodge towards them when they attack and you should get a good 3+ evades that way.

I guess I have to pull my camera back some. I’m running the “-useOldFoV” setting with the camera at a distance only one notch back from as far in as you can go, so pretty close.
I did manage to finish, but point taken @Vivcent, and that’s how I partially got it the other day, and the rest of it doing some DEs somewhere. Seems to happen by itself if you get involved in big things. I just happened to have everything done and really wanted to wrap up tonight and go read.
So I went out to the lake in Queensdale in the SW corner where there’s a Veteran barracuda that summons more little barracudas. I got him to about 50% health and then let him spawn 2-3 little fish and then kept in Water so I could heal and just tried to dodge when it looked like he was going to attack. Ironically, I think I got ‘most’ of the dodges at that point by ‘failing’ to dodge ‘him’, but then inadvertently ‘successfully’ dodging his adds.
I’ll have to try running a bit tomorrow with the camera out to see if I can see that text. Thanks everyone.
While fighting a Pirate thief I dodged the attack where they spin around and throw out loads of daggers and got around 6 ‘evade’ text displays. It seems like they all counted because I was on around 75% and that one dodge was enough to complete my daily.

This is what I do against Bandits in Queensdale. Specifically during that ranch event in Queensdale. Otherwise I just dodge into large mobs of enemies and get quite a few evades to register.
1) find a dredge (or other) cannon and go to town. Really easy way to get dodges since they fire at a very predictable rate. other ground aoes like fire and traps are also good.
2) how you can play at anything other than max zoom boggles my mind.
In Gendarran Fields I went up the the caged animal pit area near the gate to Snowden and triggered the event there. As each group of animals came out, I dodged-rolled through them a few times before killing them. This helped with the kill variety and the dodging daily …
Elementals telegraph pretty well, dredge cannons.
Anything that has multiple projectiles can proc at least once but probably more if you dodge it.
Bandits or cenataur (the ones who shoot), there are lots of them in Queensdale and they all do the same thing it seems. They’ll fire at you almost immediately after you first attack them, and then again like three seconds later.
I find those fire breathing grubs(O_o) or drakes are the best to get your daily dodge, or any mob that puts up a red circle aoe.
Basically, Daily Dodger is the derpest achievement ever.
You aren’t trying to dodge the attack! If the attack doesn’t connect, you get no credit. The attack has to HIT YOU and NOT COUNT (I.E. you see the ‘evade’ text). That’s the only time you get credit.
As such, here’s the easiest way to get it: Find someone with a projectile that flies horizontally, like the Young Karka or the Svanir axe throwers. When they launch their projectile, roll THROUGH it, TWOARDS them. Works 100% of the time.
I use Greatsword as Ranger, it has an evade on auto attack so I get a lot of constant dodges, using weapons that have an evade will help

I second this. Dodges got done in no time and without even thinking about it.

I tried that with an ice elemental. I kept my bear next to me by clicking the F3 a lot. But almost all the red circles where around my bear. Even though i was standing next to my bear and dodged out of the circle, it didn’t count because the circle wasn’t around me. I then went to a dredge cannon. I let it shoot while keeping my bear next to me (with a lot of F3s). Most of the red circles where around my bear again. I had to stand there for several minutes, waiting for red circles around me. This is not normal gameplay, dailies should be achievable through normal play, not through stading there getting shot at without retaliating. I did this in wayfarer foothills, in a higher level zone i would probably get killed trying something like this.

How do you do this. Do you mean that the default attack counts as as dodge (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Power_Stab) even when there is nothing to dodge? Or do you have be lucky that the evade happens when there is something to dodge?
Drakes with firebreath have a pretty long windup for their attacks. Took me a few tries to get the timing right and then was able to complete the achievement with them.
Btw, this was on my ranger. I told my bear to not attack. Still the drakes would sometimes attack the bear instead.
I feel like you are probably dodging too early. I don’t play a ranger but I don’t think ground aoes care if they are around you or your pet for dodging purposes.
I had problems till a guildmade told me to use ettin’s. there animation is actually a bit slow, but if you watch you can see the pattern easily and then it is dodge, dodge, dodge and you got the achievement done.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
I like to find an Asclonian Archer and get him to shoot at me. Sometimes they fire two arrows at the same time and if you dodge you can get two evades. There are some great tips on this thread though… might have to try some of them.

Dredge cannons are your friend slow easy to time attack they sit there and dont chase you plenty about in starter areas with no other mobs about.
try the ones near the new refugee event while your doing the quest.
also at least in my audio setting i hear an audible note when i get the dodge right, if you just watch the cannon ball and listen its simple with a minutes practice to get right every time
dodge through aoe or aoe fields, they’re great.
