Does waypointing send you to Overflow?
From what I’ve observed, if you waypoint within a map, you won’t go into overflow. However if you waypoint out and back in, or travel to an adjacent map and back in, then you run the risk of going into overflow.
Back at the start of the game this was always a possibility. However that issue was removed quite a while ago. If you waypoint within the same map, you won’t be forced on to an overflow server.

no, you stay in the same map
Unless you enter an ‘instance’ (e.g Scarlett’ Lair) while waiting around. When you leave the instance, you will go to an overflow if map is full.
I have a question.
In I am in a zone that is full, and I waypoint to a nearby waypoint in the zone, will I risk being ported to overflow server when doing that?
Yes
When I was doing the Scarlett events (when she attacks different zones), if I waypointed I could be put into an overflow server or even if I was already in an overflow server, a different overflow sever. Has that changed?

NO you are so wrong. I do it all the time, it’s only if you switch zones/ map/ enter instances.

Not the same question at all. If you stay on the same map, you do not go to overflow.
If you go to an event in a different map-then it might.

My personal experience has been when SB is about to spawn,so teleporting from Claypool waypoint to Swamplost Haven waypoint get me in overflow.
