Would love to join as a student this if it’s still going! Keen to learn Arah and Crucible of Eternity especially, but also brush up on the other ones I’m on NA, and play mostly ranger/druid, but want to learn how to play the other classes well.

Hi! I’d like to join as a student. I’vve been playing GW2 for quite some time, but it’s been a long time ago that I’ve been doing dungeons and even more since fractals and I’m not confident in my skill anymore (even less because of the changes HoT brought). I’d be interested in learning raid stuff as well.

Hi, I’d like to become a student. I’m a NA player (Mountain time zone), and generally play during weeknights after 8pm EST, and any time on weekends. I have the HoT expansion and have been playing for about eight months. I have a thief and warrior to lvl 80 and equipped with exotic gear.

I prefer playing my thief, but will play the warrior if a mentor thinks it’ll be easier for a noob like me to start out with. I have very little experience doing any type of group PVE content other than open world stuff.

I’d like to begin with dungeons for now and fractals later on. I have almost no experience playing this type of MMO and lack an understanding of the fundamentals and general experience that my current guild mates have. They’re all doing mid level fractals and raids and I need to rewind and learn the basics first, I think.

I would like to join as a student please if this is still going. North America (Blackgate server). I’m in the central time zone in the United States. Just hit level 80 with an elementalist and bought the expansion and could really use training to get off on the right foot. Willing to learn and work at it.

I’m posting here so that I don’t forget about it. It’s gonna be about two more weeks before I play regularly again (because Master’s degree).

For the record, though, I’m in the USA, and play a thief. And want to learn to not suck. I think I’m about level 40 right now, even though I was a beta tester…(school’s a jerk).

Im only level 60 and looking for some help in leveling, dungeons, everything in general LOL I am in the NA region (California) and applying as a student. Im not sure if its going to be an issue, but i dont have the expansion. Just getting back in to it after a while away from the game. My main is a thief.

Hey there. I am a new player, a few weeks old at best, recently hit 80 and got myself some Berserker gear, looking to get involved in Raids and Fractals right away!! (Mainly Raids for now) I’m hesitant about jumping into parties in LFG because of my lack of experience.

I’m from EU and a Guardian.

I’ve played a little on/off, gotten 5 different characters to 30’ish level, but after changing server I didn’t want to relevel those levels, so the 80 boost with HoT finally got me to the action.

I got to level 80 2-3 weeks ago, got full Berserker set and finished my elite specialization along with the HoT questline. Now I’m looking to get into dungeons, then fractals.

Read a lot of guides, but really don’t want to burden people too much at the start.

I am from NA usually EST Time. I have been playing WVW pretty much exclusively for the past several years and am looking to branch out and learn some of the FOTM and Raid content. I have done a couple FOTM before years ago. I have all the classes up to level 80. I also have an Ascended Light Gear set. I have done some dungeons before Mainly CoF on my War. I am looking to join as a student so I can do mostly FOTM and Raids. I am flexible on which class. I am interested in Ele with the light ascended armor I have. Also I have HoT expansion and all classes fully opened.

first of all, this project sounds amazing. Thank you guys for maintaining that for such a long period of time!

Secondly, I’m a returning palyer after approx. 2,5yrs break. I started GW2 again by end of April this year, I think. I used to be in a Hardcore PvE Guild and I want to get back into one, but my skills and knowledge got very rusty and in the past view months of pugging, playing with casual guilds, and now recently a few weeks with a hardcore guild (which told me to practice more, before I can be considered a fit.) I’ve searched for a guild where I can practice and improve in, until I reach a level where I see myself not as a burden, when applying for trials at a Hardcore PvE Guild again. So I found this thread and it would be terrific if I could join and enjoy your mentoring programs.

[EU] 22 years old, main Thief and Warrior, very rusty in Dungeons, not so much in fractals and got to collect some expierince in raids (37 LI , all bosses down multiple times).

Hey I started playing gw2 in June. Was a long time wow player, and I’m still trying to get my head around the way gw2 does dungeons (no real idea what paths are), raids, and honestly I’m not sure what fractals are aside from a repeatable instance with gear progression related to agony…?

Basically I want to learn how to do all of the instance types in due time, and improve my combat skills overall since I’m new to the game. Hope to end up raiding, since I like complex, cooperative fights requiring strategy amongst a bit of chaos. I’m in NA, PST.

Iv been playing gw2 on and off for almost 4 years( started 2-3 months after release) i like thief alot ~2400h on thief out of 3000h of playtime didnt play much after HoT so i have almost no experiance in Raids. So my question is, are there any raid trainings coming at any point? iv done VG once, did it with training group after about 8-10 tries. Also i would like to run Arah as iv never done it beside story ofc, so i would need some mentoring on that.
im in fractal lvl 70 and i think i need some help on higer lvl too as what i should do on my thief there.

I have full ascended gear on thief (zerk).

Good day, I play on an EU server (Gunnar’s Hold), I’d like to be a student. I main a thief and a mesmer; I want to improve my effectiveness when playing with a group. I’d also want to learn the ropes in fractals.

Played at launch but didn’t hit level cap with my engi by the time I quit. Came back recently and had a much better experience hitting 80 with my necro. Would love to learn and run the dungeons as I skipped them along the way. Count me in as a student on a NA server. Thanks!

I´d love to apply as a student. I´m playing on EU just hit lvl 80 on my warrior as well. But still got my lvl 80 boost from HOT. To be fair I got almost no experience in GW2 at all, since i hit lvl 80 by simply running around, exploring the world and not even finishing the hearts. But since I got some raid experience from other mmo´s I want to learn the do´s and dont´s in gw2. Looking forward to an invite.

I would like to be a student, for fractals particularly, but also revisiting dungeons which i haven’t done since they needed to be unlocked in reward tracks and raids which I tried the first path when it came out and it was a horrible experience. Lately I have mainly PVPed. Back when fractals first appeared I played them a lot and made it to 40 something, but things have changed a fair bit it seems. I mainly play my guard I guess and am on EU.

I’d very much like to join as a student on the NA. My main is a Mesmer, though I have other level 80’s (Almost all through boosts). I’ve only had PvE experience. I’ve never done PvP or dungeons…and would just overall like to become good at the game…and get legendary weapons. ^^;

Hey I oficially declare the guild dead and over. It has come to a point people wouldn’t find help because mentors no longer play the game. It has served it’s purpose but nothing lasts, thanks for time spent!

Honestly this is the first time I’ve noticed this thread and it’s because you posted in it. I think it’s a great bit of info for those doing dungeons for the first time. I would hate to see it fade.
