Good day friends,

Let me ask you something: why is current meta for NA so different than EU? What is more both eu and na metas are good and there is no better one. What I noticed is that na seems to be more open and creative, while na seems to be more traditional. I just wanted to ask, why is that?

I do really like the fact that there is not only one option, but you can bring different classes/builds and still be successful, but why, for example, we don’t see many bunker guardians in NA as well as there aren’t many necros in EU. I don’t mean that there shouldn’t be place for guardian (thief mesmer guardian is a really good team comp) or necro (I find terrormancers, condition necromancers to be really strong).

I’m just curious, I don’t want to offend anyone, just asking.

AFAIK, the meta is the same in both continents (I mean it’s the same game we have right ?).

EU might have a more conservative approach, since when we are pugging, we might not always be able to communicate properly so we stick to old stuff we know works (even if it is clunky like the anchor guardian build).

My statement is valid only for the pugging environment, since players from both continent speedclear the same way.

And what about pvp then? The top teams from na and eu are so different (for example TCG and The Abjured). Is it just a trend for certain classes being ‘flavour of the month’ in na? The thing that is most surprizing for me is the current state of necro and guardian. As I have mentioned above bunker guardian is no longer a core class for na teams, necro is not that welcome in eu teams. I might be wrong of course, so anyone can just clarify me.
