Guild Wars 2

Hey how is it going? Long time WoW gamer moving to Guild Wars 2.

I dig simplicity therefore I have always played easiest ranged class.

I am playing Elementalist at the moment but finding it a bit more complicated than what I am used to.

What is the easiest class to play in GW2?

Greatsword/rifle warrior = Easy mode PvE, but not so much in PvP
PvP wise is sole dependent on personal preference, play style, and current meta.

Warrior is awesome and easy. I’ve played 4 classes, and warrior is the most straightforward I tried.

Warrior is a nice balance overall for both melee and ranged play.

Guardian is a pretty close one as well if you are looking for something a bit more tanky and support wise than damage.

Ranged warrior.

Started playing and loving Warrior so far. Wish I hadn’t wasted to get Elementalist to 42 :/

lol yea Ele is one of the most complex professions to play well.

If you aren’t getting enough out of ranged play from the warrior, give ranger a shot. pet lets you stay at range and use bows or axe quite effectively.

I’d say easiest would be Warrior (good w/ range) and thief (mediocre w/ range)

Medium would be ranger, necro, and guardian

Most complex would be ele, mesmer, and engineer

Edit: Just IMO from what I’ve played and have experience with.

I think easiest is ranger… it’s mind numbing… get a bear, he draws all aggro, then you stand back and shoot… no skill required at all… it’s so easy that it’s what botters run… but in the end rangers are very underwhelming and unspectacular

If you want ease and actual contribution to your team, warrior is definitely the best… early leveling is super easy with a rifle, and greatsword is amazing for dungeons and wvw… plus you have more vit than you even know what to do with

My advice is definitely rifle and greatsword warrior
