I’ve got two GW2 accounts and would like to dump all my crafting mats from one of them to the other to start leveling my crafting.

What’s the smoothest way to transfer all my stuff? The in game mail will throttle down my access to mail after about three messages telling me that I’ve been sending an “excessive amount of mails”. I can understand wanting to slow down spamers and hackers, but this isn’t a hack – I just want to move my stuff between accounts.

Don’t have a guild-bank to bounce via either – am I just stuck with waiting for the mail que timers to go of cooldown, or do you guys have any other suggestions?

Guild bank is the best method for mass transfer.

If you do not have access you can create a personal guild and upgrade it with a guild bank upgrade (will take some gold and research time).

Otherwise transfer via in game mail.

You can take a 30% hit on the value of the items if you sell them all on the TP transfer the gold then rebuy the mats.

I was in a one man guild and just playing the game normally has gotten me a guild bank. I now have a friend playing and we’re going for the next guild bank size.

Guess the guildbank is the proper way to go – thanks guys. In game mail seems to have stuck all my mails in some queue that just, refuses, to deliver atm. So, I guess I’ll put crafting on hold for tonight

Make sure your inbox isn’t maxed out, that will hold off delivering anything until you delete some to make room.

if you have multiple characters you can get quite a bit of influence just by making sure they’re all representing your bank guild and then logging into each of them once a day. There are some complications, but there’s several threads on this forum explaining them and how to get around them.

With 6 characters it took me about 2 months to get the first (50 slot) guild bank. With 2 accounts you’ll probably be able to do it faster than that, and you can always buy influence to speed the process up.

You could also get 2 characters through the personal story. That will get you 2800 Influence(from the letters) which should be enough for the 50 slot guild bank.
