Easy Question about Specialization
First you must use hero points to unlock your druid traits and abilities. Then equip your druid trait-line in the 3rd slot. You are now a druid.
Elite specialisations have to go in the 3rd trait line slot.
This is because the plan is in future there will be multiple elite specialisations for each profession but you’ll only be able to use one at a time.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Make sure you have fully trained all Ranger traits and abilities. Likely you have if you were able to put any points at all into Druid.
Keep in mind that you are only a Druid while you have the trait line equipped in the third line, as the others said … and that you can only use the traits you’ve unlocked in that line. So you can be a Druid, have a staff on, have the Druid utility skills you’ve unlocked, but you will be missing minor and major traits until you get enough HP to fully unlock the Druid line. You still will have two other full lines, however.
Elite specialisations have to go in the 3rd trait line slot.
This confused me the first time.
(And to be honest, it still confuses me: in the future, why should it matter which slot it goes into? If you have one elite slotted, the game can just prevent you from adding a new one by x-ing out the other elites. Still, it’s a trivial mechanic to learn and follow.)
