I have found this while google-ing about effective health:
http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/60838-math-damage-reduction-toughness-and-vitality/

The part i am using atm is this:

health*armor/10000=
0 – 3500 Break on touch
3501 – 4000 Fragile
4001 – 4500 Middle ground
4501 – 5000 Durable
5001 – 5500 Tanky
5501 – 6000 Built to last
6001 - Moving Fortress

Now my question is, is this still a good way to tell how survivable you are?? Since its almost a year old…

Thanks in advance

Armor hasn’t been changed, but it doesn’t take into conderation utility and whatnot.

Yes, I realize most classes have ways to mitigate damage, but as a basis, this is still a good guideline?? So if I can take a few hits or die when a mob looks at me wrong, hehe :P

That “hierarchy” is just something the author made up.

Whether it has any basis in reality is questionable.

My guardian is at 3824 according to that formula. She is far from fragile even when playing with a handicap(only using scepter/focus, little to no weapon swap).
