Elementalist Underwater Elite skill
I have not gained any elite underwater skill yet. I am level 76 elementalist. I believe there is none.

Do you need one? (I am asking as someone who has only played about 10-15 levels on an ele not because im being sarcastic…)
Haven’t played elementalist yet but you can see which skills can be used underwater when you’re looking at all your skills. When a skill cannot be used underwater it has a little water drop symbol with an X through it. If all the elite skills have that on them then the ele does not have an underwater elite. If that’s true that seems really bad since not having the extra skill is a bit of a kitten of your character.
The elite skill is a watery vortex of doom thing. There’s only one ability to choose from so it’s not an issue of simply choosing the wrong one and it disappearing once you go in the water. For those who don’t have an Elementalist, there currently is NO spell for the underwater elite slot. It doesn’t even show up in the character sheet for purchase. They had it in the betas before launch, so I’m guessing it’s just a bug.
ArtifexDominus, elite skills go in slot 10, so effectively Elementalists can only have 9 skills on their bar underwater at the moment. They are also generally quite poweful.
I’ve heard the vortex exists in sPvP but not in PvE currently, not sure why.
From my understanding, it is the Tornado elite skill. When you go underwater it becomes a whirlpool/vortex skill. It might not how this in the skill point menu however.

This is true in PvP, but in PvE the tornado doesn’t become the whirlpool…
