Drunken Alliance [DKAL]
Piken Square [EU]

Hey everyone,
I’ve come to these Forums to ask for some opinions on this matter as I’m really not too experienced in GW2 yet.
I’ve logged about 500 hours on GW2 so far, since Beta, and apart from doing some very casual dungeon runs such as Twilight Arbor & CoF Explorable, I really haven’t done much to do with the game, except levelling.
The most recent problem I’ve come across, is whether to choose to main, gear, and dedicate my time to either my Elementalist or my Engineer.
Elementalist looks super awesome and has amazing aesthetics, as well as a high skill cap which I love.
Engineer has flamethrower, and some incredibly cool traits etc., never mind versatile builds.
I plan on playing mostly sPvP and WvW Roaming with a friend of mine (Thief). I also plan on doing some Fractals for the gear, the back, and other stuff.
Thanks loads for all opinions,
The Baws.

All opinions are still welcome
I suggest making an ele
, their skill variety is amazing and I never get bored with mine. I run dungeons a lot and I never have any problems there. For WvW and PvP I don’t do as much but I do fine with my ele when I do. Engineers can be fun too but I personally get bored with a lot of their skills fairly quickly.
If your a staff ele you basically bought the ticket into any high level wvw guild. The ability to deal damage to arrow carts on keeps and towers is easy pie with fire and healing allies with water at gates with heavy AC fire in unreadable makes you easily the most important and key players in the server, next to commanders themselves. And if you wanna run solo unequip staff and go D/D and you become a highly versatile short range threat if your good at it. And the best thing is that no other class can really pull it off like you. There are healing necrosis but eh dedicate almost all there traits and armor to just that, when their akin their screwed. You can do that but better. GO ELE.
