Guild Wars 2

Ive only been level 80 for a few days, so I might not know any better. But it seems my server feels (eradon terrace) really dead. I go to Ruins of Orr areas and theres nobody there! Lucky being an elementalist, i was able to zerg around the map and explored all 3 zones. But I haven’t really done any events there besides 2 Balthzar runs (one was a wipe). No one does Lyass or the other one in Cursed Shore.
I watched youtube for some karma farming guides. All of them suggest to do chain events at Cursed Shore starting at Caer Shadowfain and make your way down, but I can’t solo them. Also, the event at Penitent WP (where the NPCs are building some structure) has been stuck at 70% for 2 or 3 days. I see some ppl farming there on the waves of risen for drops like crafting mats and some rares/greens. Thats not really for me anyways. The only karma vendor that I’ve seen is the Balthzar one.
The 3 dragons are the only events that I can do since people actually come for them. But spending 20mins on 300 karma doesnt seem to be worth it.
Dungeons seem to be pretty fun. Ive only done CM and AC. I have trouble finding people to group up. I used http://www.gw2lfg.com/ for a group and I dc-ed, so I couldnt get back in the same instance as them -_-
So really, not really sure what to do in the game anymore. Can’t be running around chasing dragons forever.

a: Orr is really dead. The reason is that for many the effort/reward ratio is out of balance. So people go to other things like dungeons. farming in frostgorge sound, WvW, etc.

b: soon we have guesting enabled serverwide. this means that also for Orr you can make groups with people from other servers (very good for bugged events too btw). I hope that http://www.gw2lfg.com will support lfg’s outside dungeons when guesting is enabled. Hopefullky that will solve your problem (and mine, I still need to do a lot of exploration in Orr).

c: Don’t be scared bout a single dc when guesting. make sure you always make a note of the group leader and when your back in the game with no way of returning to the dungeon instance you always let the party know what happened and appoligise. Most will understand and move on (or even restart with you if they where not far in). If your already out of the group sent a pm to the party leader to let him know what happened and to say sorry.
