Hey there, I am quite new to the engi, and need some help getting a good WvW build. I really like the rifle and HGH elixirs, but I am not sure what gear/runes to use. How much boon duration is actually required to be effective as an HGH engi? The reason I ask is that I am tossing up between full celestial gear with traveler runes (here)(for the constant 25% movement speed) and a mix of beserker and some other stat types with might/boon duration runes (here). I was considering celestial as there is only a 100 decrease in power and the same precision, as well as the movement speed from traveler runes (always good for WvW), but again, I am not sure whether I will have enough boon duration. Can anyone help me decide between the two builds? Thanks
Engineer WvW Build Help
You should really put this in the Engineer section. Tons of helpful people willing to help. Celestial gear with Traveler Runes would be super expensive but I bet it would be a Wonderful build! Engineer has an incredible amount to versatility so builds are all over the place. In my opinion, if your going HGH with Rifle you probably would also want Nades. Especially use nades if you have Celestial gear with Travelers as you will want to utilize the conditions on top of your dps. I wish I could afford to test the build out though!
