Engineer kits and autoattack
Are you aware you can set the skills auto-attack with Ctrl + RMB?
yes, however this is not viable in combat, everytime you switch off a kit and back autoattack settings are erased. That’s my whole point. My build switch between 2-3 kits every encounter
I just noticed this myself today and it is really annoying.
We shouldn’t have to set the default attack every time we switch kits.
Well you definitely should have the option BUT I would avoid setting the flamethrower 1 to autoattack: not only does it have a really long cast time, but for this same reason it doesn’t need to be spammed as much as other autoattacks.
“You can’t have more than 10 HS decks because that would confuse people”
“30 fps is more cinematic”
I want it for flame as my rotation goes hit with pistol dots, flame 1, 2, 3 to dot, damage and push back, then drop big ol bomb and repeat. Atleast for one mob.
I have to CTRL+RMB my autoattack every time I switch to a kit. Saving the setting between uses would be a godsend.
Everyone with a transform or bundle weapon would also benefit from this, like eles and norn.

That’s just a your personal preference though, but a lot of people myself included like having it set to autoattack. Its not the fact that it doesnt have to be spammed cause of a short channel duration. Its just 1 less thing to worry about when you have it set to autoattack. Also even though it does have a channel using any other ability during that channel stops it.
Any engineer kit end up suffering from the same problem when you switch back and forth to it…wrench kit, elixir gun, etc.
EDIT: although part of me things the not having autoattack might have been intentional for balance reasons. Since we can switch back and forth between kits and not have to worry about cooldowns.
