Guild Wars 2

So I just have a simple question that players who have experience a range of professions could answer.

What profession uses the environment around it to the best advantage/
What profession needs to learn to use the environment to survive.

I know all professions can be best played while using the environment, but i want to know which does it best. I’m looking for more to learn/ another challenge.

Like right now, i’m leveling and ele, and i do have to use LoS to survive sometimes and i can use d/d skill #3 against a wall to lay down a bunch of fire in one spot, dealing a quick burst of damage, and burning. I can do the same with FGS #3 and #4(untartgeted). Also, in WvW (main reason i have this question) i use Arcane Abatement (50% less falling damage and casts a spell on landing based on attunement) , so i can run off a high ledge while being chased, and wait at the bottom with d/d #5 (churning earth) or other hard hitters to add on to the damage taken at the bottom of the fall.

Also, instead of just saying “engi” or something, could you please give a small explanation?
