Q:
I have done some research on this topic and I have not found any real answers, I have seen a couple posts saying people wouldn’t equip their precursors just in case. After spending 20-30 gold in the mystic toilet I was able to get “The Lover” I would love to equip it while I farm away for the last 2 gifts for the dreamer, but I want to be certain that I can still be used after being equipped to make the dreamer. I know changing the skin invalidates its usage in the forge, so it really puts a giant question mark in my mind by making it soul bound by using it.
A:
the moment you craft legendary t will be soulbound on use even if you equipped precursor before. You can do whatever you want with it after that.
Source : legendary owner >_<
You can equip it, just don’t transmute it.
Thanks for the quick answer ^-^
Ok, here’s a follow up question. If you equip a precursor to one character but you want your legendary on a different character how does it work?
I’m assuming the character who has had the precursor equipped will have to actually make the legendary (i.e. combine the gifts+precursor in the forge) because the precursor will at that point be soulbound. Once the legendary has been made it is soulbound on acquire and can be placed in the bank for another character to collect and equip? Can anyone confirm my thinking is correct?
