Guild Wars 2

I’m just curious, does anyone actually use any of the items you get that change your abilities for some of the events? I find they generally suck and make the event take 5x longer so I just drop them and go about killing whatever it is with my regular set of abilities. The only time I have used the event item fully was when I was burning corrupted plants as the flame thrower did the trick nicely.

Just wanted to check and see if anyone else actually used them or not.

Only when I have to. AND when I got an awesome Fire Sword for an event. It did a TON of damage and was very useful/cool looking.

Where is that even where you get a Fire sword?

I myself found that fire sword in a few events i just love em cause of its high damage and fun skills but must of the time my normal weapons get the job done faster.
