At present the second most expensive item on the TP (right between Eternity and The Juggernaught) is a level 80 Masterwork shortbow.

Any idea why?

Has someone just wasted an insane amount of gold listing something that will never sell, or am I missing something which justifies the price?

Yeah, I can’t see anything special about that item. It’s probably someone either using the TP has a second bank (which is pretty dumb considering the listing fee they had to pay to list that) or someone TP trolling.

Probably somebody TP trolling, but it might be the only item of its kind, from way back near launch. Most likely a troll though.

More than likely it’s being used as a means of money laundering. You’ll have to figure out the details yourself though.

Shouldn’t the bow have a prefix designator on it? It’s Cavalier stats, so it should be named “Cavalier’s Short Bow”, I think? It’s just named “Short Bow” in the picture though.

If that’s a bug, is it possible the seller put it up in hopes some oddities collector would be interested?

Well it’s the only one of it’s type, or at least the only one currently being sold. So it could be a bug. I was thinking it’s odd that it’s just called ‘show bow’ and nothing else.
