Q:

Hello all,

I’ve recently received the 1-year birthday email from ANet and nabbed an experience scroll. Both my girlfriend and myself took the item thinking it would be free experience for our current characters but obviously found out that our assumptions were incorrect. We were excited anyway, however, and thought it would be a great opportunity to try a couple new classes (we only have two characters each).

Here’s the problem – the scrolls are stuck on our higher-level characters, and cannot be moved. I’ve done the unthinkable already and double-clicked it thinking it would bring up a dialog box to select my new character, but it merely asked for confirmation concerning the use of the item. I’m afraid to waste it, and would like to know the best way to get it to the new character. Mail is not an option for this item unfortunately.

A:

The experience scroll should be account bound (unless that’s changed). You should be able to put it in your account bank with the toon it’s on and pick it up with the toon who will be using it.

They are still account bound.

Also anything that is account bound needs to be transferred through the bank not the mail. You can only mail things that can be given to other people.
