Extra Dragonite, Empyreal, Bloodstone?
You convert Piles of Bloodstone Dust, Dragonite Ore, Empyreal Fragment, into Empyreal Star, Bloodstone Brick, Dragonite Ingot. You need 100 of the former to make 1 of the latter. The bricks, ingots, and stars are what’s used in the recipies. So you would need 27,000 of each of the dust, ore, and fragments and a massive amout of gold to make all those ascended weapons and armor. Hope that clears things up,

If you have a full set or ascended armor and weapons for 10 characters I think your problems run much deeper than what to do with extra ascended materials.
Just toss it after that.

I would guess this is only indirect boasting… Some1 who has many alts and a crapton of playtime on his hands does ask questions like this? Again sorry if I’m too suspicious, but I think this guy just wants to tell the world how much stuff he farmed so far.

So I currently have 9 alts that’s 135 of each…
And then you need 5 each per weapon. Suppose I gave each of my alts 3 weapons that’s another 135… so I guess I’ll need to bank about 270. What should I do with the rest? Craft ascended backpieces?
You also know that a full set of ascended armor will cost around 500-750 gold just for ONE character ? And that the pure increase in stats is maybe just around 1% compared to your total stats ?
I have btw. 12 characters and 10 of them have 1 or two ascended weapons, but only one has an ascended armor piece, and that was also just because of the look.

I really wish there was an extra use for empyreal…I know you can craft backpieces with bloodstone.
You can also craft toxic sharpening stones with bloodstone dust. No real use for extra dragonite or empyreal fragments yet. I suggest keeping them in case those are added with extra bag slots in one of your characters or in the bank, or else you’ll kick yourself one day if they release something that needs 25000 empyreal fragments, 25000 dragonite ore, 25000 bloodstone dust and 250 ingots of deldrimor steel.
Like… for example, a crafting recipe for Dawn. ;-)
That said it’s ridiculous already. 27,000 dragonite ore would take 1000 world bosses or keep lords, which at an optimistic rate would take 9 months to achieve.

I think you are being too suspicious. Having an excess of crud of which you don’t know how best to dispose is hardly something to brag about. It’s actually quite the pain in the backside.

It doesn’t sound like the OP said he had full ascended for 9 alts…He’s saying he has 9 alts, and it would take 135 of each to MAKE full ascended for each alt. From what I got out of it he’s just calculating how much he would need, and doesn’t know what to do with the excess.

Hold on to it. Put it in the bank, guild bank, mules, etc. There isn’t much aside from weapons and armor to make right now, but we still haven’t seen jeweler go beyond 400, and it seems like ascended jewelery might become a thing at some point. If you really have that much and storage is an issue, refine it into vision crystals and lesser vision crystals. would save much more space than just keeping the ingots/stars, as thats what it’s only used for anyway at this point.

500-750 gold for a full set of ascended? I made mine for FAR less than that. If you are buying ALL the mats, and buying the damask bolts straight out instead of making them, then MAYBE…But I did mine for around 50. Total. Although I did farm most of it, and really only bought silk, and not all of it even then…

You’re forgetting the cost of training the professions to 500. The first set really does cost that much. Especially if making a light armor set.
Subsequent sets, especially if same stat on same armor class, become way cheaper.
At the moment the limiting factor on my ascended crafting is laurels – I’ve made so many that I ran out of laurels entirely just buying the recipes and amulets + karmic infusions for my 80s. The other materials are starting to pile up…
Yes, skilling crafting is a pain in the kitten , losing gold only to refine that crap and hoping it will be sellable or more useful in the future. I still fighting with a thought if I should up my crafting skill and can’t decide but probably I will finally give up and waste gold on crafting.
