Heya! Friend made a f2p acc to have some fun in PvP with me. They did the race intro mission and got to level 2 but can’t access the PvP lobby (Crossed swords icon does nothing)? I read they were the only things needed to get into the lobby, or am I mistaken?

It’s ‘locked’ for new players, but you can still access pvp via the portal to HotM.

No they don’t, you can go to LA and enter the portal at level 2.

OP: As far as I know, all you have to do to get into pvp is do that first introduction mission. So, I’m not sure why your friend can’t use the pvp button. :\ Maybe make sure your friend isn’t in an instance and also try logging out/back in.

She did a little bit of leveling, and it magically works now -.- Thank you both for your time though!

Yup. Same for the racial cities and all non-starter maps, but you can enter those at level 10. LA, though, you can’t enter until 35. I believe if you try to enter, you’re just ported back out.

The portals don’t even work to get in to LA until that char is lvl 35, it’s not even an account unlock.

iirc it’s lvl 3 or 4 to unlock sPvP for the f2p account, at that point it’s easy to reroll the second slot to get the pvp daily.
