Hey Guys!

I wanna extend my farming knowledge a bit, help me to share your method that you practiced, and you felt it good. Not those what you now google and paste here, i want to ask the personal experience.

I know the cof p1 farming method, of course with a warrior, or mesmer it gives ~7 gold / hour.

- lvl 80 zone farming (loot + orechalum ore/mats)
- TP speculation
- low level mats farming
- profession (ea cooking, huntsman, etc)
- real Euro trading to Gem then in gold (now it’s like 100gem for around 2g)

I rather ask about a concrete option od farming. Tp spec is mostly about flipping items.
I thinks about versions like malchor’s leal spark farm if you have the temple.

tbh, I do them all, except the last:
I’ve run malchor and cursed shore
I’m buying low price item and selling them
I’m using the endless pick to mine “all” mine I see, including copper
I buy cheap mats, and make wapon to sell

globaly I earn around 1-5g/day. I know it’s not much, but I enjoy the game.

@OP
Not sure what you want to know here ..
Also, would help to know what you want to farm, gold? Low-level or high-level mats? Karma? Lodestones?
Some have the same approach, some have different approaches.

50sp makes you a mystic weapon. That gives you about 4-5g depending on the market.

It really depends on what your farming (mats, karma, skillpoints, gold) and the end goal you have. For example, the method Marnick is stating is a very good one unless you need gold for your legendary weapon but are also working on your clovers.

For pure money I prefer dungeons and cursed shore event farming.

Most thing you find from drops or harvest in any map can be sold on the TP or vendored, so it is all profit.

For harvesting mats, there are 2 approaches. One is going after small quantity, high-level mats, like omnomberries, in Cursed Shore / Malchor’s Leap, and/or harvesting larger quantities of more easily available mid-level mats like various ores and wood, etc. A 250 stack of gold ingots will sell for 1-2 gold on the TP.

Other valuable mats are creature parts used in crafting. Across all the crafting tiers blood and scales always fetch the best prices in their respective tiers. Tier 6 blood and scales usually sell for around 20+ silver each

Farming Cursed Shore events that cycle around Penitent, Shelter and Jofast can net you 2-3 gold per hour. sometimes more depending on the timing of the events and how lucky you are.

There are heavy moldy bags that drop, you can sell these unopened, or open them and sell the contents. You will also get rare items you can sell or salvage for ectos, then sell those. Occasionally, you will get an exotic item drop that can be quite valuable.

How you farm the events depends on your class and play style. You do the events like any others you find in other maps. However, these events have more vets and champs, so running around in MF kit and using lower damage weapons for AoE mob tagging, will get you downed/killed very quickly. Having to be rezzed and repairing armour defeats the purpose for being there.

Other events involve capturing the various temples. The full event chain for some these can be very lengthy, e.g. the complete Balthzar temple clearing chain consists of 18 events. Doing all of the events in the chain increases your chances for better rewards at the end.

I doubt videos exist for running these events, but you can search for yourself
