I am trying to match my armor with the raid specific Cairn Indomitable Gladius. Is there a way to know what colors they used or is someone just really good at matching them? get the closest you can with stuff that doesn’t cost over 40g or so.

Go to the Dye Window
→ show locked colors
→ sort colors by hue

Then go to the Red/Blue colors and check every color that could fit in preview
It doesnt take too long, it is free and you can easily test every possible color that could fit like this
Just write down every colors that could fit while you preview and then chose the ones of those who cost less than 40g

You can preview all dyes in the dye panel but something similar to bloodstone dark indigo might fit.

• Start with googling “color picker” and you’ll get a tool that you can use to match cairn from a screenshot.
• Note either the css colors (top) or RGB triplet
• Visit the dye matcher at GW2 BLTC
• Enter your css/RGB number, as metal texture (assuming you are using heavy armor)
• The resulting list will allow you to choose economically.
