Hey, so i was just wondering what the fastest way to get karma currently is? I know it must be different than what it was a few months ago.

I was about to make my legendary today when i realized (like a kitten idiot) that i still need 100k karma!! I can not believe i left out those obsidian shards! I really can not wait to craft my legendary and would lovelovelove any advice!

P.S. I know the most efficient way is daily/monthly. but, well, i want it ASAP.

To answer your question directly. Besides doing daily and monthly (use a guildbonus+banner+persobakbooster when opening them) is really hasnt changed at all. So farming Orr event’s specially the temple ones is the best way to do them. What has been changed is the difficulty level and the reward chests. This means people are actually doing those events.

As for getting obsidian shards. This has been changed. You can also use the laurels to get them (2 laurels for 2 obsidian shards). so with the jug of karma thats 4 per day (3 for the karma you get) and 40 if you finish your monthly.

You can also buy them for fractal relics (15). I don’t do fractals, so I don’t have a clue if it is time effective to farm them that way.

Shards also drop from lost Orrian Jewelry Boxes, but thats a non-effective way of getting them. The boxes are bought with karma and are more expensive then buying shards directly. They also have a change! to drop them.

WvW zergs are amazing. Cap a bunch of stuff. Enemy zerg caps it back. Cap it again!

I would also suggest WvW. If you don’t have any zergs running you can always hit yaks/sentries/camps. The karma is small but adds up if you do that until you can run with a group to hit towers/keeps.

I know fotm gives karma for doing levels below your level. I don’t know how much, but that might be worth it in combination of getting relics to turn in for shards.

But yeah, I’d say WvW roaming groups. Get a large roaming group or small zerg and just go in circles around the map, doing easy keeps, camps, sentry points, boss events, etc.
