Giant Mushroom Spores are a Scribe crafting material used for making basically giant mushrooms for your guild hall. Supposively, these should drop from Sawgill Mushrooms in HoT. I harvest everyone I come across, but they never, ever drop. Considering that several are required to build the larger mushrooms, these are either dismally rare, I’m looking in the wrong places, or it’s bugged.

Any help on which of the three options it is?

I think I’ve gotten one … then promptly sold it.

They might be rare and/or few people harvest the sawgills since they aren’t really good for much.

Looks like a typical rare item to me. About 50-80 on the TP at any given time, with the price varying accordingly. In the last six months, it seems to have peaked at 16g (sell offers) and been as low as 3.3g (buy offer).

If the drop rate were just a little bit higher, then the price would drop a lot.
