I’ve been doing fractals for a while, and I don’t think I’ve ever spent a single pristine fractal relic. As a result I’ve got about 1300, enough to get the fractal tonic. On the other hand i go though regular fractal relics like water, so I don’t have many at all. What I REALLY want are the infinite potions, which I can get if I convert essentially all of my pristines into regular relics. Would that be foolish?

Are you struggling in fractals? Are you using multiple potions each week? If the answer is ‘no’, then I’d go for the tonic.

If it’s “yes” for whatever reason (we won’t judge you…not much anyhow ), then get the everlasting potions for utility + convenience and (eventually) you’ll earn enough pristines for the tonic, too.

You can convert your Pristine Fractal Relics to regular Fractal Relics with a ratio of 1/15.

The fractal tonic dropped for me, so I converted for the potions. I might end up regretting it later, but both currencies have no real lasting value currently. Once you’ve finished golden fractal collection, infinite potions, and fractal tonic I expect us all be to be in the same spot where we were before, just sitting on them and hoping ANET adds in more rewards.
