Hello. I was thinking about buying a flute and I was wondering if there is some sort of program that would let me play songs automatically. You may think it destroys the point, but I could use it when I go afk for example.

I’ve seen this thread and I’m not sure if it’s an option, since I don’t see a guide anywhere.

Even if a program/script like this exists, is it okay with anet to use?

So sorry but it’s not ok. Any macro that puts multiple key clicks on one action is an account banning offense. As a non-musical person I’d love to be able to load up songs like in LotRO but it’s not allowed in GW2. You must play manually.

At least that means if you hear someone doing a good song, you can admire their skill.

‘For example, if you Press A and it results in the casting of a single skill, you’re ok. If you Press A and it casts multiple spells, you’re not ok.’

So this means that it is not allowed to use any outside program that let you play automatically.

So the answer is no.

I do know you dont mean harm with it, but I’m just quoting the rules. If you want an active musician force that use this kind of programs, you are free to petition a suggestion to make it a part of the game (like e.g. lotro), but it should be arenanet to buildthis an nobody else.
