Flute notes sticking bug
When I was using the flute last night, I noticed that it LOOKED like it was stuck on one note. However, once I turned the volume up, I could hear the pitch changing as I pressed the other keys. And the door I was trying to open did open once I actually finished the sequence. So, listen; if you hear the pitch change, then it’s working fine (even if it doesn’t look like it).
When you play the first note, you have to wait for the activation bar to finish before you can play additional notes. Basically, your first note will always take 1 full second and all later notes can be played as fast as you can hit them.

That. And also, if you try to play other notes during that activation phase, sometimes it’ll just bug it completely, I’ve noticed.
Best thing you can do is prep it in advance of when you need it, hit one note, let the activation bar fill, then once its full you can play whatever you need on it. It’ll be functional and work right until you put it away after that.
For Motos finger.Press 3 as you jump to the set of 3 clouds and then spam the remaining 5 notes before the clouds melt.
As mentioned the first note is to initiate the tune so its a case of how quick you can spam the rest after the first note and most importantly “practice makes perfect”.
You can finish W2 Z3 without using the flute unless you are planning to do Z3 achievements
The weird flute controls caused me an immense headache when trying to access the last two secret shops in W2-3 tribulation mode.
But oddly enough, I managed to get it without actually playing the song correctly.
