If you create a character name that may be offensive, and it is reported and you are forced to change the name, are you able to choose a new name or are you assigned a name and stuck with it?

I don’t think you get a new name assigned to you should you have an (by accident) offensive character name. I do however believe that you are not allowed to play with that character till the name is changed into a more appropiated one.

This is only speculation, let’s wait till someone can confirm this

There was a Reddit post about this the other day: for first few offences, the player gets to choose their new name, but eventually repeat offenders will get assigned a new name.

Thank you for the info, I thought that would be the case but I wanted to be sure.

You could also not pick a name that is offensive and never have to think about this at all
