Guild Wars 2

A friend and I completed Forging the Pact together. I got credit for it while he did not. I thought it was possible for people at the same story step to get credit for the same story mission. Is this bugged or did we do something wrong?

I’m pretty sure that a message popup for the person that joined you asking if he wants to get credit for that personal story step, if both are in the same step, he probably clicked in “not get credit”.
