Just curious, I’ve been seeing a lot of random kitten references pop up in the forums. Is that just the friendly neighborhood moderator using kittens to replace less fun and furry words on the forums? Or maybe an inbuilt censor with a fondness for felines?
Or is everyone just really into kittens lately?
For example from other posts I just read:
“Tell him to kitten” and “Learn to play kitten.”
Unless kitten is a new action of some sort? Like planking?
I thought it was kind of weird that people were referring to each other with kitten, too. It actually comes off sounding rather piratey to me.
Anyone know for sure? Am I just completely missing some new internet trend? O.O

Yeah, it threw me off at first. I wasn’t sure if it was automatic or if someone was going into threads and changing them to spontaneously chosen cute words.

I’ve actually taken to writing kitten in my posts instead of swearing, because it makes me giggle.
For example, most people who starts threads need to be told to calm the kitten down and shut the kitten up.
