Guild Wars 2

Just got a “Foxfire Cluster” in loot after the patch, but I don’t know from what. It says it’s rare, and sells for 48 copper. But it’s not listed as salvage, vendor trash, or any kind of crafting material. Nor does clicking on it do anything.

Anyone know what this is?

I got it too by chopping the tree in Dry Top. Wondering myself what it is.

Probably a crafting material for the new back piece. Try it in the forge?

The seed is activated in Lions Arch, the water in Frostgorge Sound in the end of a jp and the residue was activated in Plains of Ashford, if i remember correctly, in a skill point. Then you can buy the recipes for the clay pot and some other food stuffs from the dry top merchants and you start crafting. I just did one plate of meaty plant food (http://db-en.gw2.fr/item/66917), it has a waiting time of 35 min. Basically you start growing your own back piece, as I get it.

What ? How ? how did you complete ? where did you get foxfire clusters ? i gathered dry top zone like 5 times but just got 2 of them. Anet should add more kittenN RNG into game

It’s not just Dry Top that has these. I and a party member both got one while playing in Straits of Devastation.

From which trees? Or only ancient wood?

Cypress Saplings and above. Basically, trees in Level 70 zones and above. Pretty rare drops, but you do get them.
