Okey so i should be able to max out gw2 with this gpu a i5-4460 and 8gb ram right? Apparently not though, do you guys know where my system is weak and what component this game is heavy on? Thank you.

you should propably know the game is not very graphically heavy. My gtx660ti could run it very well. The game runs mostly on cpu, and my i5 thats about 6..7 years old now, is starting to slowly fade, I notice.

Depends on what you meant be “max out”

If you meant full settings in giant zergs, it’s simply not going to happen even with expensive hardware. It is simply CPU bottlenecked and getting a better graphics card won’t help, and even expensive CPUs will struggle in these cases. Just game limitations.

Turn down character model limit and quality to low/medium and things should be fine.

At 1080P the thing holding you back is your CPU, not your GPU. That being said, you really can’t max this game at 60FPS all the time because of how it’s coded. You could get better performance by getting an unlocked i5 and overclocking it but it’s probably not worth the cost
