Guild Wars 2

I know this is an odd topic for GW2 but I can’t find a better place to put this. I tried a popular GW2/GW1 forum and have had no success. I need 7 more minipets to max out that part of the HoM so that I can have 30 points to get all the rewards other than the extra titles you get after those points. So I was hoping by posting here that perhaps someone could help me out either by pointing me to an excellent place to get them. Or if it is ok to conduct business here I can post the ones I don’t have and make a deal for them; buy, trade, or pay it forward freebee. I do have a number of duplicates I can trade with or can be for pay it forward freebee to others.

First off all, the miniatures can (almost exclusivly) only be achieved when your character gets 1 years old. so beside some ultra ultra rare drops in specifick area’s and the expensive balck moa chick, almost all other miniatures are only available when your character turns 1 years old.

From your post I understand that you currently have 29/30 and 7/8 in the devotion statue. This means that you very likely have other points that are easier to get. You might want to go to your HoM, press save and share to copy the link and then post it here (that way we don’t know you charactername wich is a GW1 security detail, but we can see what other progress you have). The reason I’m asking it is cause you seem to be missing something else that is easier to get then 7 more miniatures but I can’t wrap my finger round it with the limited info you have and I might be wrong.

If however you want to stick to your original plan, you might want to use the halloween event finale to try and trade. Festival finales always had a lot of returning players, and I expect that this will be the same this year. so a lot of people will be logging in for the first time since months and will see some characters with birthday-presents. So in short, advertising that you want to buy in e.g. Kamadan is a very good time then.

That would be easier for us to have a quick check if we have one of these for you or not.

7/8 in devotion for all the 43 minpets I have. Will have 5/8 in fellowship with 2 more heroes (I have two so far and one rare pet). 3/8 in resilience with these armor sets:

Elite Exotic Armor
Elite Kurzick Armor
Ancient Armor
Granite Citadel Ascended Armor

Vabbian and obsidian are not feasible though desirable if I were still playing GW1 outside of the HoM rewards for GW2. I actually had planned on getting one of each on two different toons back in the day but stopped playing GW1 too long to bother now. I could get Canthan, Sunspear, and an MG set to satisfy 5 and 7 statues for armor. Though of the mindset that I would want to do that for toons not already with pretige armor that would mean a lot of time. Or do so on the toons with the monument open. Either way using up all the gold I have left.

And I have 0/8 valor. And also the most required to obtain of all the stuff I could get to reach 30 points. The best I could hope for is one weapon here if one is far easier and quick to get vs the rest.

So 43 minipets = 7 points, hero/pet = 5 points, titles = 9 points, armor = 3 points. I need to get 6 more points to have 30. So my options are a combination of 7 more mini pets, more titles earned, up to 3 armor sets, and the not as likely or easy one weapon.

I forgot about this pet. I beleive I have started getting it. I have an egg sitting in my vault. I guess that means I need to do something with it to get the mini-pet. So that is one less I need to get.

well, what I was going to say was that right now there are a lot of people selling clean minipets in kamadan ami dis 1, so that would be a possibility to buy or trade more

Trade for necrid horseman complete. I removed it from the list in my other post. Looks like I got my work cut out to get the moa mini since I only got the egg and book thingy. So I’m not going to count that one right now and go for whatever minis I can get from others. I’m willing to buy minis as well if they are low priced. All the gold I have in GW1 has to cover whatever I need to buy to get the remaining points.

I will have two more points from titles by finishing the 3 cartographer and guardian titles. More than that would be more time than needed to get 30/30. If I were to do more titles I’d have to do the 3 skill hunter and 3 of the reputation type (lightbringer etc) to get two more points. Seems like way too much time to do those for just two points.

I’m going to get 7 more heroes armor for 3 points. Plus the few mini pets I still need. That will get me to 27/30. The last 3 points can come from one armor set and one oppressor weapon. So basically if I don’t get the mini pets I’d have to get more armor sets instead as the 2nd fastest/easiest way to get that one point.

Trade for fire drake complete. I added newly obtained duplicates for trade or pay it forward for anyone who needs then for HoM points. I forgot about two special offer minis I had so it looks like I have 8/8 points for minis. Which means that any other minis would be for collecting them all. Which I wouldn’t mind doing so if anyone needs any of those extras and has ones I don’t have for trade I would prefer to trade but will also pay it forward if no trade in minis is possible.
