Guild Wars 2

Whenever I am playing GW2 i can not watch anything on my second monitor because the game causes the video to lag and skip. I have no idea why and it a new thing that didn’t always happen.

My PC Specs:
Asus Strix 980 Ti
i7 4790k CPU
Asu 970 Pro
Samsung SSD
16 GB or Corsair DDR3

I have a second monitor and have no issues with videos running while I play. That said in high density Boss fights even with out a video running I can lag.

Have you tired to lower you game graphics when you watch?

Yeah, and it helps. The main thing is i never had to do this before, even on my last build wihtout nearly this much power. i am just confused i guess lol

I have that problem in fullscreen but if i play in windowed full screen it fixs the problem may want to try that if you have not yet.

No issues here in windowed. However did have an odd incident the other day where the 2nd screen randomly went black for a few seconds, but guessing that is a hardware issue not related to GW2.

Just check that tou are not running 93736 programs on the back.

Go to windowed fullscreen, that will fix it.

Like others have stated windowed fullscreen will fix the issue
