Guild Wars 2

I just want to comment on the on the community we have here.

I played another game for a little while, Starting that game during WOTLK. I was brand new to Mmo’s and had a question, so to the forums I went. I don’t think I need to share how the answers went.

I have been reading the questions here along with one of my own. Everyone’s answers have been helpful and encouraging. Even to the people asking the same question that was asked already on page 3:)

I get the same sense in game too. Tons of nice and respectful people.

Ya I’m very pleased coming from Diablo3 . Their forums are full of trolls and the pages scroll so fast your post is off the first page in the first 10 minutes.

Agreed! Tip o’ the hat to the GW2 writers, and developers for creating an atmosphere of community…and enforcing it!

I agree. Anets heavy handedness I think is actually benefiting the community.

These forum, so far(/crossesfingers) have been the most civil I’ve read in a long while. The D3 forums are a “wrethced hive of scum and villainy.” They are also funny.

Completely agree! Very happy to see that the community base is not built upon trolls. Very rarely do I come across a person (maybe happend twice since release) where I saw someone trolling, but (and I never thought I’d say this) it brought me some amusement. Fortunately, the people asking the questions got a nice response with a solid answer by about four or five people, including the ones trolling after they had finished.
