I don’t know if this type of post is allowed but I really hope it is because I think everyone needs to know that no matter how much you check with enough money they can drowned out the bad reviews!!!

So to get to the point I was looking for a good guide focusing on speed leveling and leveling builds, I found one that listed that and lots more such as gold, Dungeon, Crafting, and SPvP sections, updated constantly with tips on playing the game its top potential all written by top MMO players who dominate every game they play. Yep it had all that and cake and pie to boot :-) so it seamed. The name of this great all in one wonder is Guild Wars 2 Zhaitan’s guide.

Well so you make the one time payment of $37.00 and wait for the link to the site to see this super MMO guide. But wait instead you get directed to another page that offers you for $17.00 more access to the super secrete elite section, no I just want what I paid for, yes I understand I wont be offered the super secrete elite access again, sigh yes I’m sure just take me to the guide I payed for…

After jumping through hoops, puzzling web pages that try to hide the link to turn down their extra offer numerous times you get to their so called guide, trust me if you could see it you would laugh,

Leveling guide lol yeah right it only had the starter areas, and at that its just an over view of the area not any thing you can’t find out just looking ant any online map of the game.
The Super fast leveling tips is basically “do events” :-( lol.

Crafting guide is nothing but legendary Weapon recipes,

No gold guide, nope not one at all. unless its hid too.

Dungeon guide is just a over view of story behind each one, no strats that I saw.

SPvP is just maps of the battle grounds.

Nothing on WvWvW.

By the time I got that far in the guide I was about to Give up them I looked at the leveling builds, well this area looked promising but after you really start looking you see that everything is out dated and I mean everything, this guide looks and feels like 90% was written during the Beta weekends and only a few things where added to make give it some meat. But trust me that Meat is over cooked, non seasoned, and definitely hard to swallow.Thank God it has a 60 day money back guarantee.

So in my opinion its over priced and definitely over hyped, with so many fake reviews that you can’t get to the real info. So the advice I would give is to stay away I wish had.

Why on earth did you buy the guide when you could of just used “the google?”
the guide is something you use when the game is Completely fresh, in this case, its not.

Nah, it’s one of the guides that comes out with any new game. Seriously, there’s no reason to pay money for any unofficial guide, because there’s so much out there for free already.

you can literal type “/wiki <topic>” in chat while in game to search anything on the fly.

Thanks for the warning. But I wouldn’t have paid for an unofficial guide when I can find everything through Google for free anyway.

Take it as a learning experience. For a long time now, everytime a popular game is coming out, tons of “unofficial guides” appear with supposed secrets for success in the game, while in reality usually they either contain info you could easily get from free from wikis and google, or cheats and exploits that will most likely get you banned from those games.
