Guild Wars 2

Hello!

Yesterday my razer mouse arrived so naturally I’ve installed razer software – which is razer synapse. Everything went fine. I had no problems with the game. Today I couldn’t update my gw2 launcher with synapse working in the background. The launcher just kept crashing.

What I did to fix it is I un-linked guild wars 2 from razer synapse. I rebooted my PC, closed razer software and then GW2 launcher started to work again. I can use synapse afterall once the game is launched.

I’m using x64 bit GW2 client launcher with Razer Synapse 2.20 ver. and Razer Naga Hex v2.

Thought You might want to know about this issue so I’m leaving some info here.

I use synapse for my orbweaver. I’ve not had issues in in recent days.

It’s the “Link program” option that’s causing troubles is my guess.

I hope Dreamy can help — I have GW2 linked to my HEX in Synapse and have never had an issue with it. On the other hand it’s my only profile. Though I do have my colorful Blackwidow Chroma setup for GW2 and mostly plain white for regular typing, and my keyboard instantly swaps between the two when I go in and out of GW2.

But I’m not expert in it at all so I couldn’t begin to imagine why it isn’t functioning for you I’m only posting this because I have the same setup as you and it does work.

It’s more Razer Synapse doesn’t work with Gw2…or anything. The app is just full of bugs and minor problems that will be there for some or not.

I don’t feel the urge to link GW2 with razer synapse for stat purposes – right? It works perfectly fine without linking so I’m gonna leave it here. Thanks for helping out!

I have a razer keyboard and mouse liked to gw2 and I haven’t have any issues with it… ever
So I’m not sure what advice would be handy :/

My GW2 occasionally crashes when switch to razer synapse window to swap my keybind presets on my naga. Seems currently like a 1 in 5 times that it does it.

Did you link razer to the 64-bit client or the launcher itself?

I linked a profile to the 64 bit client and so far so good.
