GW2 hates me I think
What stats do you use on your items ? It has often been said that mobs turn often on players with high toughness.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
I go prec/tough/condition damage, my toughness is around 2k at level 80, but I go in with warriors and guardians too, and I would guess they have better toughness.

It is your toughness. Warriors go beserk as do a lot of guards.
wow toughness bad, good to know that you all.
Do you carry a shield? Shields are reputed to increase aggro.
Never go shield, always rifle, though 90% of the time I use kits.

Im not so sure about this, I run in full berserker gear and berserker trinkets and much like the OP, then generally go after me. Even in large groups, more often than not, I end up kiting them around, even with my pet on passive.
I’ve often wondered how enemies determine threat level. I would think there is some element of randomness to it.
It is like vice versa, Guild Wars 2 loves you. It only sees you. You are like Shiny Knight amongst nobodies. You are making it astonished and makes foes just running after you.
Hey, You should be proud, you are somebody!!

It varies from boss to boss. Some will go for whoever is doing the most damage others go for different things such as range. One of the HotW bosses will apparently go after whoever sets it on fire …
… well, when you kite others may dps freely. Maybe you just Tank At Heart, and denying your true nature? Think it over, pal…

Just think of it as “tough love”.
I’ve had times on my mesmer where I suddenly seem to become the “favorite”… it appears the mechanics vary depending on the mobs. It’s not that big of a deal, though, because I’ve chosen a more balanced build with some survivability to it as opposed to a glass cannon for example.
It’s that sexy (falsetto) thong! I read someplace on the forums (yeah, right, who believes that stuff) that there are a number of things that bump up your agro – whether you’re healing a downed player, whether you’re doing the highest damage, and then the bosses sometimes have a quirk, like the one in Caudacus who goes after the AoE dealer. But toughness, I hope that’s not right – that’s sorta counter-intuitive. If I were a baddie and faced with four steel-canned warriors or guardians and one sexy Mesmer (or maybe 4) wearing her nightie, I’m going after Nightie-Girl. Just on principle, of course.
