GW2Efficiency.com - Safe?
As far as I know, it’s 100% safe to use it.
Never had a problem and it is a very useful site. It only uses your API key if you so choose and that just makes certain things about your account readable. There is no way anything about your account could be altered through it.

nope, api key doesnt give account access, just lets us look at account contents.

The API key is provided by Anet. You can rest assured that there is no way to use the API to hack your account. It does not expose your user name or password. Although if you register an account with GW2E I’d suggest you use an email and password separate from your GW2 account, but that is just standard account security anyway.

Ok thanks, I set up the account and the amount of info you get looks really nice.
Although now I see something called ‘Track Investments’ and when I add an item like ectos it gives me the option to ‘buy stock’. This doesn’t use your in-game gold does it?

No, it is just a way to track your investments if you are interested in playing the TP.
