Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, I did search and could not find anything.

Is it possible to buy and/or transmute order armor? When I played through with my Thief I joined the order of the whispers, as it seemed most fiting. However, now I have seen the pics of various armor sets, I really like pieces from the other orders and do not want to have to redo the character from scratch just for one or two bits of gear.

Is it possible for me to gain them somehow for my Thief?

Buy it with a char that is in that order, transmute it onto a white with fine stones, then put the item in the bank and transmute that white onto the item you want to wear with that char.

Sadly, no, at the moment there is no way to get the Order gear for another character, or for you to get the gear of another Order, because they are Soulbound on Acquire. I’m actually about to go make a post in the Suggestions forum on this very subject, since I see a lot of like-minded people with similar problems.

Make a second character. Join a different order. Purchase the piece of armor/weapon that you want. Purchase a white level 5 weapon/armor. Transmute said order piece onto white piece, and put it in your bank. Take out the item on your other character, and transmute whatever stats you want over it, and enjoy.

Are you doing exactly this?

1) Buy the order item with a character in that order
2) Acquire a white item of the same type
3) Use a transmutation stone and put the name/picture from the order item and the stats from the white item into the fields and transmute.
4) the item should now be Account Bound
5) Transfer the item to the character you want to wear it.
6) Use a transmutation stone and put the name/picture of the order item and the stats and rune (if any) from the item you want to use and transmute.
7) Equip the item.

Out of curiosity, does this method work for cultural armor?

I think it would be interesting to see some of the cultural armor on a different race.

It does not since the cultural armour actually have a “race” requirement and the models of the armours only works for the said race.

It works on blues as well found it out by accident with yellow weapons transmuted to a stronger blue (by a few levels). I have an account bound blue weapon in the mid 40s now.

and then it’s Soulbound, not Account Bound.

The reason it’s showing up as soulbound is because you’re adding the upgrade item (rune/gem/or whatever) when transmuting the order armor, do not select the upgrade item at the bottom of the transmutation screen. Just click the whisper armor for the look, then the white or blue armor for the stats, then click transmute.
