I’m not 100% sure if this is something that you guys will be able to help me with, but I’ve already scoured the forums and other discussions for answers, and they haven’t helped.
My game keeps crashing on my mid-high spec rig. The Witcher 3 played very nicely with few crashes on high settings; Guild Wars 2 played with zero crashes until Heart of Thorns came out. Now (even with fully-updated vid drivers, hardware drivers, etc) I’m getting regular crashes and even bluescreens with both the 32-bit and 64-bit clients. I’d like to say that it’s not the game’s fault and that it’s something I am able to personally fix on my computer, but seriously… no fixes have worked and other games work perfectly.
Has anyone else had these issues? Has anyone else been able to fix them?
Main specs:
-Windows 8.1; all updates except the Win 10 update installed
-16Gb RAM
-4Gb vRAM (2×2GB 660ti SLI; I tried switching SLI off but the problem stayed the same).
-Nice cool case with plenty of air flow
-All drivers up to date
But seriously, it’s only Guild Wars 2 (after the expansion) that crashes. Oh, and Assassin’s Creed Unity, but that happens to everyone.
