Guild Wars 2

I’m getting a new desktop soon and am torn between the GeForce GTX 560 Ti and GeForce GTX 660 Ti. To complement the video card I will have an i5 3450 3.1GHz (3.5GHz turbo) processor, 7200rpm 6mb/s HDD and 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM. I want to run max settings at a smooth 60 fps on a 1376 × 768 display. Is there anyone with either of these cards that can share their opinions / own performance?

I am running an EVGA GTX560 Ti (1MB) paired with an AMD Phenom II x4 945, I’m getting 34-48 fps pretty consistently.

EDIT to say: That’s with 6GB PC10600 DDR3 mem and a crappy 7200rpm HDD. That is with max settings at 1900×1200 resolution. Have not done much w w w but I have been on alot of zergfest world DE boss fights. The worst I can remember those being is around 24fps but it rarely dips that low.

extreme low of FPS (12) in WvW combat with High gfx settings and 15-50-xxx people in a scenario

High of 60+ when inside caves and other small structures, dungeons perhaps 40’s, 30’s. all high settings – not ultra

inside cities i get lows of 20’s – 50’s (generous)
