Guild Wars 2

Might be a silly question but it’s one I would like to know. Is there anyway of knowing what sets are available and how they are obtained in game? Or do we use external websites to get this knowledge? If so does anyone recommend a good site to use to “plan” your gear goals, so to speak?

I would just check the Lion’s Arch merchants and preview the different sets.
