Ok so im building my gear right now. But i’d like to see how much power, prec, crit, etc. i’ll have, so i won’t waste money on buying too much of wrong trinkets or so.

Do you guys have any sites with gear calculators? I found some but with PvP gear only.

I’d suggest www.gw2skills.net, but it’s down because their databases are being moved.

Why don’t you hit H to enter your character window, then hit the bottom tab on the left and press “Enter the heart of the mists”? Once you’re there you enter sPvP mode, where you gain default PvP gear and can gain PvP gear for free from vendors, as well as reset your traits whenever you want. It also has training dummies as well as other interesting things for you to test out how good the build you made truly is.

The necklaces you can get there reflect your whole armor’s and jewelry’s combined bonuses, I don’t think it takes in jewelry addons though.
In the end, it’s approximately what you’ll end up with, aside from that – carefully experiment with gear outside of that sandbox, it won’t cost you too much.

It was originated by the same people who run the gw2codex website and is by default French, but there’s a drop down menu with flags to show support for other regions AND you don’t have to make yet another stupid account for a site.

Furthermore if you’re interested in sharing the build you make simply copy the ‘bbcode’ url at the bottom of the flash window when you’re finished and paste it for people to click on.

It was up to date when the trait tiers were first put in but due to the numerous patches and fact I tend to look in the Heart of the Mists myself, I can’t verify that it is still up to date. Best of luck to ya.

Sorry, just posted the best calculator out there since I figured it was most likely to get updated with gear if ever…

Seeing as this is 2 months after release – legendaries and likely other gear that’s bugged still needs to get finished, the expectation of a gear calculator seemed odd. My bet’s nothing like what you’re looking for will exist in the next 6 months – though if someone’s looking to make it happen I’d be willing to throw 100 gems at them for the use of it.

Furthermore, I’m confused as to why you’ve found sites to compare gear in PvP. When I look through the locker all the gear you can get seems to have the same stats which makes me think what you found was actually a Rune calculator of some kind. But I don’t do PvP so I dismissed it.

As far as PvE gear goes, I can share a link with you ( http://www.bob-guild.net/gw/extras/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?19284 ) that lists the types of stats each piece will have. From there you’ll have to look through the trading post to compare the ones you’re interested in which may be good enough for now. Oh and some of the gear listed there you won’t find in the TP and will have to talk to the Dungeon Token Vendors to actually see the stats offered – just a heads up.
