Gearing question post patch
There is no real optimal way now, as everything now has the same trade off. However might stacking is very powerful right now
So if I like hybrid type play would I be ok going celestial trinkets with rampage gear? More specifically would the base stats from celestial trinkets give me enough toughness/vitality to survive in PvE and WvW and enough ferocity to take advantage of the precision/power from rampagers?
If anyone know an up to date way to try this out in a calculator that would be great.

Looking at it (edit: for engineer) celestial trinkets/weapon and rampagers armour with adventurers runes gives me:
1,595 power
1,260 tough/vit
1,590 power
CC 36%
CD 173%
18,500 health
2,380 armour
This is without traits. I’m liking the results and when I specialise traits as either offensive or defensive the numbers get to a good result.
I would definitely have some form of might stacking though as your power and condition dmg are quite low
I can get another 300 power from traits making it 1,895. What would you consider acceptable? Keep in mind this is hybrid to you are looking for direct and condition damage.
Here’s a thread discussing hybrid in engis. 2300 power, 2300 condi dmg, and 50% crit chance with 20k health and 2500 armor (with lots of protection)

The runes in those builds are outdated however, for now use full aristocrat runes or strength runes
