Geforce gtx 970, 980 ti, 1070, 1080
You could’ve gone either way. 1070 performance is in between a 1080 and 980ti. (anywhere from on par with 980ti, to directly in-between a 980ti and 1080 depending on the game)
There is a shortage of 1080 and 1070’s currently (my local store is back ordered 100-200 units), so you might be waiting awhile if you went with the 1070.

1070 is better deal, slightly faster than 980ti and use way less electric power so u save more money.
Yes. The 1070 is about the same as the 980ti, but stock. The thing is Maxwell can overclock much more than Pascal from stock.
Another reason is the 1070 has the stock cooler, which ia louder, while that ichill is a beast.
The only thing is that the 1070 will be better at VR.

If you’ve ordered the 908ti, so it’s a moot point now. If you need a card right now, there’s really no question: 980ti, because there’s no reliable stocks of any next gen card.
The 970 is still a very good card (more that enough for GW2) and I would have advised you to wait until both Nvida and AMD release their full GPU stacks (i.e. 1070ti, RX 490, 2nd gen Fury) before deciding.
Also there’s a report that the 970/980/980Ti are being discounted by $25/$75/$125 respectively.
