Guild Wars 2

I’m generally new and basically winged it through this game so I don’t know half the features of it. I’m at lvl 80 with 14 mastery levels which I achieved through heart of thorns mainly and completely the story journal achievement for Tyria. I’m actually having a lot of trouble finding out how to get more mastery points in Tyria because theres no designed points to go to like in HoT. (Also Season 2 costs 200 gems and I’m too poor for that)

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

central Tyria mastery points are gained by doing achievements. this wiki page lists what they all are:

or you can look at your achievement panel in game and see which have a red coloured mastery icon.

A word of caution though: each race’s early personal story chapter shows as a mastery point, but what the wiki is (poorly) trying to show is that any one of those chapters awards a point only once.

So if you do a chapter on a human, you get a point.

If you do that same chapter number on a charr, no point, you’ve already been awarded it.

So if you’ve completed your personal story, no points there for you. You do get the achievement points and whatever other rewards completing the chapter gives, though.
