I’ve noticed that when I salvage items with runes or sigils in them, I seem to always (unless I never noticed) get them back.

I made a new character and I don’t want to pay for another set of runes and sigils due to their cost on the TP, and that all the armor and weapons I want to salvage are soulbound. Can I salvage them safely knowing I’ll get the runes/sigils of the soulbound items?

The chances of it differ based on the salvage kit – look at where it says there is an x% chance to recover the upgrade.

Master’s/Mystic can be bought or made yourself, with an 80% chance to recover the rune/sigil/other upgrade. If you want it to be guaranteed, you need a black lion salvage kit.
