Gold Making Help!
That’s only about 360 gold right? Most farms are in the vicinity of like 10-20 gold an hour I think. SW, karka shells, and any of the 4 HoT maps should get you something like that mostly via mats, and then you get 2 gold for dailies.
Fractal dailies are time gated but give crazy gold.
Unbound magic to T6 mats is another option, not sure how time efficient it is and you may want the map specific currencies for gear anyway.
I would personally spread it out over like 2 or 3 weeks and do all of the above, but if you were crazy you could find the one that works best for you and just blast it out in a day or 2.

First, LS2 can be bought in the gem shop at a discounted rate, all missing episodes at 20% off. That should save some gems/gold.
I don’t consider putting in bids for gear, then salvaging and selling the mats as TP manipulation but some might. It is boring but profitable. Same can be said about buying bags and opening them. But you are trusting RNGesus to smile on you. But if you open enough of them you get the sense of the “average”. You just have to trust the “average” over the long term.
Then there are “quick” mat runs, hopping from waypoint to waypoint that routinely have a lot of T2-T4 mats you can grab in a minute or two before jumping to the next one on the list.

If you have the mastery, the pact supply network people sell karma to map reward converters, which you can purchase, then spend per the map reward profit tool in the wiki to obtain quick bursts of relatively valuable materials.
Doing the map event completions daily in those has the noted reward, which is 20+ gold for capping out the rewards daily, not counting anything you get in drops and sell.
My secret, though, is just … do the daily things, do whatever I feel like, and sell the results. Even just gathering T6 metal and wood, then selling it raw, has a pretty good rate of return, and the ability to do “whatever” is great.
I normally include the LS3 BitterFrost chests — one or two runs through — in my routine, because they are at least kinda interesting, relatively fast, and reward well in terms of salvaged materials.
SilverWastes and HoT meta participation are still pretty good options, and enjoyable as long as you don’t try to grind them to death. They are pretty balanced in terms of rewards, so it’s fine to mix it up.
Enjoy. I think it’s probably best to try and save for the “big bang” of all the episodes at the discount, than buy them one by one, but either option should be fine.
Since returning to the game i haven’t done any farming just playing the way i want catching up with story etc, but still being conscious of gold income, I’ve just hit the 1000g mark and ive been back just over 2 months. the things ive been doing are below, you can play how you want in gw2 the people who farm spots are usually and ironically the lazy people or people who cant stick to something long term.
- Gathered all materials i came across (i do have the watchwork pick motivates me lol).
- Sold High and bought low, be patient you dont need the gold STRAIGHT away.
- daily achievement 2g per day free plus 3 shards.
- guild and personal instance node gathering (quartz ore is OP).
- Jumped into lvl40 fractal farm for a little didnt like it but occasional dungeons etc to work toward the daily dungeon runner 5g (progress stays you dont have to do 8 in one day).
- convert currencies to cash shards/karma
- pact network tokens get map rewards, just go orr and get the charged lodes/cores (tasty).
My point being i did all this WHILE playing the story and having fun with the metas and map mechanics/ exploring. not at one point have i burnt myself out during the 2 months. also ive been completing my first tier of achievements for nevermore 2 left over 2 months im in no rush haha.
