Not sure really where to start? I tried to do a dungeon but no one is around anymore. Where is everyone at? Is my server low population?

I was hoping to get back into the game and start leveling again (at 61) and do some dungeons but I don’t really see anyone on?

Has something changed or something I need to know about? Has there been a lot of game changing changes?

First of all, what server are you on? Some servers are more focused on WvW then PvE. And second, use: gw2lfg.com to find people for dungeons. That’s where all the dungeon-runners are.

I play on Darkhaven. How do I know if my server focuses more on WvW?

Is the game normally kind of “empty” now that is has been out for a while?

Tharjax it doesn;t matter what server you are on. There are like 32 leveling zones – excluding cities. People are scattered around the globe and most of the people focus on only 1 character. Therefore zones are empty.

I’m not too familiar with the ebb and flow of Darkhaven myself, so I couldn’t tell you where to look. However, I will say that most of the zones will be empty. This is not due to the servers themselves being empty — oh no, far from it — but, most people are either running dungeons, running WvW, tagging world bosses, or running Orr. While you will find the occasional wanderer in mid-leveled zones, don’t expect large groups. If it helps at all, try to find a good PvE guild with people who would be willing to adventure with you. If all else fails, you could consider a server transfer (although, other servers wouldn’t be too much different), or you can just guest to whichever server you feel like for the moment. On a side note: Lion’s Arch has the most people on average.

youll find plenty of people doing the big boss events as well

My server is also empty barley found 5 people in Queensland

Lots of people are:

1) In WvW.
2) In Fractals.
3) In one of the many dungeons, including the new one which disappears on the 12th May.
4) Hanging around LA…chillin…
5) Just doing world events according to there timers.
6) In PvP.

In zones level 16 to 70’ish the population is fairly thin on any server, unless there is something special going on…guild mission, or world event or desirable drop from a particular beasty…
